MD2880 – Frequently Asked Questions

MY UNIT WOULD NOT TURN ON, WHAT DO I DO?

  • Make sure that the batteries are inserted, check the proper polarity.
  • Flat side of the battery against the spring.
  • Close the battery compartment door back on.

CAN I USE THE UNIT WITH A POWER ADAPTER?

  • No. This unit is not intended to use with a power adapter. It works only with batteries..

 

HOW DO I LISTEN TO MY TAPE?

  • Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE (Radio OFF) position.
  • Plug the headphones into the jack and set the volume control to minimum.
  • Insert a prerecorded tape with the open surface (ribbon) up.
  • Press the PLAY button to start playback and adjust the volume control as desired.
  • To rapidly advance the tape, press the F.FWD button, while in play mode, press the STOP button before fast forward the tape.
  • To rewind an already played cassette tape, remove the tape from the compartment, flip it over to the other side, reinsert it in the compartment and press the F.FWD. When you have forwarded it enough, press the stop button. Remove the tape, flip it and reinsert it to repeat the played portion.
  • To stop the tape before it reaches the end, press the STOP button. This will turn off the power.

HOW DO I LISTEN TO THE RADIO?

  • Plug the headphones into the jack and set the volume control to minimum.
  • Slide the Function switch to RADIO position and the band switch to the desired band (AM or FM).
  • Tune the station by turning the TUNING control and adjust the volume as desired.
  • The headphone cord works as an FM antenna, extend it for better reception.
  • The AM band has a built-in antenna which provides adequate reception, to improve it, rotate unit.

  • 90 days from date of purchase with a valid copy of the receipt from an authorized reseller.  Contact support for additional assistance.

  • No, No. Do not attempt to change or alter any parts of this unit.
